Student who want to study in Canada can have the option to study at English language colleges, summer schools, career colleges, community colleges and universities. If you want to study for 6 months or more, you need to get a study permit. For courses less than 6 months duration, study permit is not required.

International Students have the opportunity to study in Canadian Primary, elementary and high schools. However, they need to have a guardian in Canada. Students’ own parents can accompany the student if they can provide access to sufficient financial resources. Tuition fee at Canadian Public school boards is around C$13500 per year. Students in good standing and having over 60% marks in their last exam can apply for studies in Canadian public schools. Normally IELTS is not a requirement as students attend ESL classes if they need.
International students who have completed high school or grade 12 outside Canada, can apply for studies in Canadian Universities, Community colleges or career colleges, depending upon their grades. If students have not studied in English speaking countries, they will be required to provide proof of their English language skills by taking IELTS/TOEFL or PTE test. Universities and Colleges require 6.5 IELTS for admission in Master degree programs and 6.0 at undergraduate level. For University level admissions, Students should have over 75% marks or 3.2 CGPA. Canadian Community colleges may accept students with over 60% marks.
